Legoland unveils the Legends of Chima
A NEW attraction beckons at Legoland Malaysia. Called the Legends of Chima Fantasy Cluster, it was recently unveiled in the theme park's Miniland.
The new attraction features waterfalls, the floating plant Cavora, a Chi ball that changes colour and also a special tunnel and dome that allow children to get a closer look at their favourite characters made entirely of Lego bricks.
"It is part of our commitment to enhance visitors' experience which brings together the theme park, water park and hotel in one location with more than 70 rides, slides, shows and other attractions," said the newly-appointed Legoland Malaysia general manager Mark Germyn.
"The Miniland cluster arrived in Malaysia after a successful display in Denmark and it was about less than a year after the launch of the Lego Legends of Chima 4D movie.
"While watching the 4D movie, the audience gets to experience the special effects of water, wind and smoke during the sensory adventure.
"Miniland is the heart of all our Legoland parks and we are confident that this latest interactive model will give visitors a beautiful experience," added Germyn.
Till March 30, specifically on weekends, Legoland will be having various Chima activities comprising speed building challenges, Lego Legends of Chima "The Hunt For Chi" games and the Speedorz experience and challenge.
On a separate matter, Legoland Malaysia Resort is giving a special discount on its standard annual passes for Johor residents.
The current price for adult and child are RM275 and RM210, respectively. After the discount, it will be RM195 and RM150 each.
"To be eligible for the offer, visitors need to provide either their identity card, electricity bill or any evidence showing that they are Johoreans at the sales counter on the day of the visit.
"With great savings of RM60 for a child and RM80 for an adult, the whole family can have a fun and memorable time at Legoland," Germyn said.
The annual pass programme provides value for money.
