KTMB is launching a major new ETS timetable effective January 1, 2026.
Key changes for January 2026 are as follow.
Southern Sector (KL Sentral - JB Sentral):
Becomes ETS Platinum, with 8 daily services

North-South Direct:
The Padang Besar – Segamat service extends to JB Sentral.

ETS Silver Upgrade: Ipoh-KL ETS Silver services are being upgraded to ETS Gold
Service Tiers :
ETS Platinum: Operates the primary Southern Sector (KL–JB).
ETS Gold: Used for longer cross-country routes (e.g., JB–Padang Besar).
ETS Silver: These services will no longer operate starting January 2026.

We visited a 20+ year seafood restaurant hidden inside Johor Bahru’s Orang Asli Village, near CIQ & Danga Bay.
Fresh seafood, local vibes, and unbeatable value — this place may be forgotten by many, but it’s still one of our favourites in JB!
